Sydney PHP Group provides a community for PHP developers in Sydney, Australia.
We run regular meetings in the city and membership is free and open to anyone with an interest in web development.

After registration, you can RSVP one or more attendees for events. If you wish to present, come to a meeting and have a chat with a group organiser.

Present a topic

Interested in presenting a web development related topic at a Sydney PHP Group meeting? If so DM the organisers on twitter or identi.ca

Hi all

We have some presentation spots open at our upcoming May and June meetings so if you want to reach Sydney based PHP users and developers then we'd like to hear from you. Possible presentation topics are:

product/gizmo/mashup launch or review (as long as it's not spam)

development practices

Q+A or bug squash session

Lightning presentation < 20 minutes length on any web development topic

MC an open discussion with attendees on a development topic of your choice

We'd especially like to hear from people using PHP in large scale installations and those who are pushing the boundaries of PHP usage.

Any plans to have any sort of job notice board on here? We currently have a PHP developer role available where I work, ideal for a student, as it’s part-time. I thought of this group, but sadly, do not see an appropriate place to post the job ad…
