June meeting

A quick reminder that our June meeting is on this Thursday coming. Meeting notices have been sent out to the membership and for those who missed that, here is a copy of the email.

Hi Sydney PHP Group member

A friendly reminder that our June meeting is on this Thursday, 6.30pm, at CodeGear offices, Sydney.

This month we have one presentation from the developers of Song Central (songcentral.com.au)

Read on below for presentation details.

Meetings are a great place to network with and meet other developers in the Sydney region,
possibly find development work and generally discuss tips and tricks in PHP development face to face with your peers.
We currently have upwards of 30 attendees per meeting so please make sure you
RSVP prior to coming so that adequate food and drinks can be provided.

Upcoming Presentations
=============================================
In July, CodeGear are presenting the recently released Delphi IDE for PHP 2.0
(http://www.codegear.com/products/delphi/php). In addition, they are kindly providing
a copy for one group member to review and provide a presentation of their findings.
All interested are invited to drop their name into a hat at the meeting this Thursday.

We are looking for presenters for upcoming meetings in July, August and September.
If you would like to present a topic, please contact the organisers mailbox with your ideas.
The group is interested in any theory or practice that can be applied to PHP development.
A selection of example topics is provided at http://www.sydphp.org/2007/07/15/do-you-want-to-present/. Don't be shy!
